Server rules

These rules keep VillageRust fair and fun. Breaking them can lead to a warning, mute, kick or ban depending on how serious it is. Staff decisions can be appealed through a support ticket.

Team limits depend on the serverVillageRust 3x | Main: max 3 players per team.

General

1.1
No cheating or exploits

Any third-party software that gives an advantage, macros, scripts or abusing game bugs is forbidden. Report bugs instead of using them.

1.2
Respect other players

Trash talk is part of Rust, but racism, threats, doxxing and targeted harassment are not.

One account per player

Alt accounts used to avoid a ban, mute or the team limit are banned together with the main account.

Teams & raiding

2.1
Respect the team limit

Allying with other groups to go over the team limit (shared bases, coordinated raids, door camping together) is not allowed.

2.2
No griefing new players

Repeatedly killing fresh spawns or walling people in is not allowed.

2.3
No base blocking monuments

Do not build in a way that blocks access to monuments, puzzles or roads.

Bans for cheating are permanentWe don’t give second chances for cheats or scripts. If you believe a ban is a mistake, open a ban appeal ticket.
